    Delays In Cervical Screening Results

      Have you had a cervical screening recently and not had your results yet? As you may be aware, there are currently delays for people receiving the results from their cervical screening. This is as a result of the introduction of primary HPV testing as part of the NHS cervical screening program. This should be fully implemented by 2020. Letters are usually issued within 14 days of the original sample-taking appointment, however, NHS England are aware people across England are currently experiencing longer waits.
