Flu Vaccinations for 65+ year olds

These flu vaccinations are going extremely well and we have managed to vaccinate a huge proportion of our vulnerable patients already. We still have a number of appointments available on Thursday 17th and Friday 18th October for vaccinations of patients aged 65+

Flu Vaccinations for 18-64 year olds

The start of this flu season saw significant delays to our supplies of this vaccination. We have received the vaccinations and they are ready for our first set of clinics across flu week (W/C 14th Oct) We have a limited amount of vaccinations available and will receive a further batch at the beginning of November. We will start sending further invitations out when we have these clinics available for booking.

Childhood Flu Vaccination

We have been notified today that the Fluenz Tetra nasal spray has been delayed by the manufacturer. These vaccinations were due to us on 14th October but we are now being told it may be the end of October before we can expect a delivery. This is a nationwide problem and will affect both GP practices and the School immunisation programmes. Unfortunately we have had to cancel all children’s vaccinations that were booked in for the rest of October but those who had an appointment booked will be contacted as a priority and re-booked once we have a definite date for delivery.
