Demand may be high at the moment, but don’t worry, Trinity Medical Centre is open and ready to help just as we always have. We’re here to make sure you see the right clinician at the right time, and to ensure you get the right care, fast.

If you need a GP appointment urgently, rest assured that we’ve changed the way we manage our appointment systems to make sure that you can speak to a doctor as quickly as possible.

If you have received a text reminder from us about an appointment you already have booked, you can cancel your appointment by following the instructions in the text message.

Same day and routine appointments

Same day appointments are for urgent health issues that need to be dealt with on the day by one of our clinicians.

Please call us if you need an urgent, same-day appointment. All calls are answered quickly and we can help you throughout the day.

Routine appointments are for ongoing monitoring of a condition or a new problem that does not need same-day attention.

If you need a routine appointment, we aim to offer you one within a day or two of your call or online request. If your condition gets worse during that time though, don’t hesitate to call us.

Whether you call or complete an online request, you will be asked a few brief questions by our care navigator team. Please tell us about your issue so you we can book you in with to the clinician who is best placed to deal with your problem, as soon as possible.

Preparing for your appointment

All initial appointments are by telephone. This is to make sure that you get the help you need as quickly as possible.

Check we have your up to date mobile number so we can text you an appointment reminder and information about when to expect your call.

Don’t worry; face-to-face appointments are still available, and you’ll still be offered one on the day you call, if you need one.

Here at Trinity Medical Centre, we’re very lucky to be able to offer you an appointment with many different healthcare professionals. If you need to see a specialist for your condition, we can help match you with the right clinician to best serve your needs. We have pharmacists, physiotherapists, mental health practitioners, advanced nurse practitioners and clinical advisors on our team who are specialists in their field and can often therefore help you.
