Who?
All of our patients are welcome to join the Patient Participation Group (PPG). As a member, you’ll have the opportunity to attend meetings either in person or remotely, depending on your preference.
If you’re a carer for someone registered at the practice—even if you’re not a patient yourself—you’re still welcome to join.
The group meets regularly with Dr. Jayakumar, along with practice managers and practice champions, to share feedback and help shape the services we provide.

What?
Our Patient Participation Group is made up of members who attend regular meetings to discuss topics and issues that matter to both our patients and the practice. All members receive meeting summaries and regular updates from the practice to stay informed and engaged.
Where?
Our group members meet at Trinity Medical Centre in our spacious conference room, which is fully wheelchair accessible. Refreshments, including hot and cold drinks, are available during meetings. For those who prefer not to attend in person, we also offer the option to join remotely.
When?
The group meets approximately every three months, with all meetings held on Wednesday afternoons. To keep members informed between meetings, we also share regular updates and important information by email or post.
Our PPG So Far….
Our Patient Participation Group (PPG) has been an integral part of Trinity Medical Centre for many years, playing a key role in shaping the practice into the patient-friendly environment it is today.
Some of the group’s recent achievements include:
– Enhancing communication between the practice and patients
– Updating notice boards and digital screens
– Increasing participation in the annual patient survey
– Installing a blood pressure monitoring machine in the waiting area
The group meets regularly with a GP and members of the practice team to discuss patient feedback and any emerging issues. These meetings provide valuable insights that help the practice identify areas for improvement. At the same time, they allow the PPG to better understand the challenges faced by the practice and work collaboratively to find practical solutions to common concerns raised by patients.
