Pharmacy First

Pharmacy First is a service provided by medically trained professionals and is available in most pharmacies, allowing patients to access guidance and treatment for minor ailments. They are also able to prescribe antibiotics for the following conditions:

Patients can access this service without any involvement from the GP surgery, instead they can just visit their local pharmacy. We can also make referrals for patients on their behalf.

If the pharmacist feels the patient will need a review with a GP, they will refer them to the GP surgery.
