Our Medical Secretaries look after the referrals and letters that clinical staff want to send. They also deal with incoming and outgoing tasks from other services about patient care. The team is also made up of staff who summarise and look after incoming communications. Our summarisers screen all new patients records and ensure the information held is correct and up to date and entered onto our systems correctly. Our scanning team look after all incoming letters to the practice, entering them onto the system and adding appropriate information to the patients records or forwarding to clinicians for appropriate action.
